When a Romeo message contains a link to your site, Romeo adds a personal token to it, specific to that person and that message. It adds it when the message is written, not when it is sent: the person approving the message reads exactly the link that will leave.
If the recipient clicks, the small script installed on your site recognises the token. Romeo then knows who came back, through which message, and which pages they looked at. The visit joins the person's other signals, with its date.
The second email of a sequence links to your "How it works" page. Three days later, the person comes back through that link and also looks at your pricing. Romeo tells you: the next follow-up can take it into account.

For an anonymous visit with consent, the network address is used for a moment to read, in the public registry of networks, which organisation owns it. If it is a company, its name is noted; if it is an internet provider, it says nothing and is not kept. The address itself is forgotten at once.
Who decides what is tracked?
Your site, your visitors: you choose the settings, as with any analytics tool.
Attributing a personal-link visit without cookie consent stays off until you turn it on.
Only the site you declared is concerned. A link to any other site leaves as it is.
Why does this signal matter?
A visit after a message is a sign of interest the person did not tell you about. It does not replace a reply, but it changes the timing and content of the follow-up. Like the other signals, it stays a dated fact: the person approving the next message sees it, and decides.
Frequently asked questions
Does Romeo identify people from their IP address?
No. Identifying a person from an IP address is not allowed in Europe. Someone is recognised only when they arrive through the personal link of a message sent to them.
Is an IP address stored?
No. For an anonymous visit with consent, the address is used for a moment to read which organisation owns the network, then forgotten. Only the organisation's name is kept.
What happens without cookie consent?
The visit counts in the number of visits, with the page and the time spent, nothing more. Attributing a personal link without consent is off by default, and only the site owner can turn it on.
Which sites does tracking work on?
Only the site you declared in Romeo. A link to any other site is left untouched.
