In short

  • A company that is hiring announces a public, dated need, with its name on it.
  • Every day Romeo reads the France Travail job offers that match your target: keywords, activity codes, areas, size.
  • Recruitment and temp agencies are removed before anything is judged.
  • The public company registry gives the firm's size and director; each firm is then judged against your target.
  • On our own targets, 29% of the offers judged were kept as a genuine buying moment.

A company that posts a job offer says, in public and on a given date, that it needs something. An accounting firm looking for an accountant is short of hands. A small business looking for its first developer is short of capacity. Romeo reads these offers every day and keeps the ones that are a buying moment for your offer. The source is French: France Travail is the French public employment service.

What does Romeo watch in job offers?

Each target carries its own job searches. A search combines:

Keywords

The role that signals your moment: “accountant”, “sales assistant”…

Activity codes

The hiring company's sector (NAF), with exclusions if needed.

Areas

The French départements you work in.

A size

The company's headcount band, read in the public registry.

Romeo queries France Travail every day for offers posted that week. Several offers from one company make one signal: a company hiring for three weeks is one moment, not three.

How does an offer become a prospect?

Offer France Travail Filter Agencies removed Registry SIREN, size Judgement Target and moment Director The person
The steps before the judgement cost nothing.

Agencies are removed first

Offers from recruitment and temp agencies say nothing about the company that is really hiring. Romeo removes them before anything is judged, by their activity code and their name.

The public registry identifies the company

The public company registry gives the SIREN, the size of the legal unit and its directors. A match is accepted only when the offer's activity code is the same: otherwise a short name lands on another company.

Each company is judged against your target

Romeo keeps a company when two things hold: the company fits your target (size, sector, exclusions), and the role is work your offer lightens or a capacity it supplies. Recruiters posting for a client and public bodies are dismissed.

Who does Romeo write to?

An offer has no author, only a company. Romeo picks a natural person who runs it from the registry: president, managing director, general manager or partner. Statutory auditors and board members are left out. Contact details are looked up only for the companies kept, about twenty per target per day at most.

What happens next?

The director receives a first message that starts from the offer: what you saw, what it often implies, one question. Nothing leaves without your approval. Job offers combine with the other sources, such as legal announcements or LinkedIn posts.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a job offer a buying signal?

Hiring says in public that hands or a skill are missing. If your offer lightens that work or supplies that capacity, the company probably has a need now.

Does Romeo write to whoever posted the offer?

No. An offer only gives a company. Romeo looks up its director in the public registry, then their contact details, and the message goes to them.

How many companies a day?

About twenty per target at most, so the flow stays readable by a person, who approves every message before it leaves.

Do you need a LinkedIn account for this source?

No. Job offers come through France Travail's public API: a target using only this source needs no LinkedIn account.
